What we make

• Indexable spiral / helical cutterhead — light duty: inserts 15x15x2.5 or 14x14x2, four edges per insert, T20 Torx
• Heavy-duty spiral cutterhead — inserts 30x12 series (1.5 / 2.5 mm thick — state when ordering), two edges, wedge clamped, cutting thickness up to 8 mm
• Spiral moulder head and custom OEM cutterhead — built to drawing, cutting circle from 76 mm, bore 19-50 mm
• Tungsten carbide inserts — 15x15x2.5 (R50 / R100 / R150), 14x14x2, 30x12 series (1.5 / 2.5 mm thick — state when ordering); grades include CERATIZIT, TIGRA, RTING and RTing selected carbide

Retrofit: straight knife to helical

A straight-knife head uses two or three long knives cutting in one shear line. A spiral (helical) head uses many small indexable carbide inserts set in a helical pattern, cutting in a shearing action. Reported noise drops from about 97 dB to about 89-90 dB, and tear-out is greatly reduced. Inserts are rotated 90 degrees for a fresh edge — four edges per insert.

Machine fitment database

We maintain an in-house database of 932 planer and jointer models across 141 brands, drawn from manuals, exploded parts drawings and third-party cutterhead listings. It is published at /fit/index.html, grouped by market (North America, Europe, Russia & Central Asia / CIS, Southeast Asia). If a model is not listed, we can still build from a nameplate photo or nine measurements.
